Tom Brake MP campaigning to improve bus services.

We are delighted that Tom Brake MP will be one of our keynote speakers.

Tom has been the MP for Carshalton & Wallington since 1997 when he overturned a 10K Tory majority. He is a formidable campaigner who has helped save his local hospital's A&E and maternity unit from closure, protected train services and is fighting for the return of a night bus . He has won several awards for his campaigning and is at the forefront of digital campaigning. He served as Deputy Leader of the House of Commons and Assistant Government Whip in the Coalition Government. He is currently the Liberal Democrat Chief Whip.

Catherine Bearder MEP campaigning to stamp out the illegal wildlife trade.

Catherine is the Liberal Democrat MEP for the South East of England. She is a prolific environmental campaigner, fighting to stamp out the illegal wildlife trade and pushing for the environment to be at the heart of European Union policy. Catherine is a member of the Parliament's Committee on the Environment, Public Health & Food Safety and is also President of the Green Liberal Democrats.

Catherine has been an inspiration to many of our members and we are extremely pleased that she will be joining us again at our conference.
