Hampshire County Council Candidate Selections: Tadley and Baughurst

Two potential candidates having applied for selection as the County Council candidate for the Tadley and Baughurst Division, there will be a full online ballot of the membership of the division.

The Executive of Basingstoke & Deane Liberal Democrats has appointed Penny Hopkins, from Hart Local Party, as Returning Officer for the selection of Lib Dem Hampshire County Council candidate for Tadley and Baughurst. Please note: Any members who are within the three months after their renewal date will still be eligible to vote if they renew their subscription before Thursday 5 December. Any person who was a fully paid up member as of 29 November 2024 will be entitled to vote.

Voting will open 9 am on Thursday 5 December and close at 7 pm on 19 December.

If you are registered to receive your ballot by email, you will receive an email with a link to the party’s electronic voting system, Mi-Voice, and an explanation of how to cast your ballot. If you have not received this by Tuesday 10 December please contact the Returning Officer, who will provide you with the link and instructions for voting.

Members wishing to receive their ballot by post should request one from the Returning Officer as these are being provided only on request, in accordance with the Party’s rules.

Paper ballots will also include instructions for voting online. Members wishing to cast their ballot by post need to ensure these are posted to the Returning Officer in time to arrive by Thursday 19 December, bearing in mind the pressures on Christmas post.
