Steve Sollitt, Acting Char of South Central Liberal Democrats said "This is a great opportunity for members across the region to hear from and ask questions of the candidates in the leadership election"

The conference (Theme: "Building Vibrant communities") starts at 9:45am (Registrations open from 9.00 am) and closes at 5pm. There are debates on "Affordable Housing", "Podiatry", "Flooding" and "Democratic Accountability in Regional Government" and keynote speeches from Andrew Stunell MP, Sandra Gidley MP and Baroness Scott, as well as lots of training sessions and fringe meetings.
