Autumn 2019 Regional Conference

Autumn Regional Conference is once again being held at The Forest School, Robin Hood Lane, Winnersh, Wokingham, RG41 5NE. It will be on Saturday 26th October from 9:00 - 16:30.

Autumn Regional Conference is a great opportunity for our new members to meet others from the region and to participate in some bespoke training and policy debates that have a chance to influence federal policy.

With everything that has gone on the past year and especially earlier this summer, and with a possible General Election looming, there is lots to discuss. We plan to offer excellent training on Building Your Local Party, Recruiting Volunteers, Doorstep & Community Campaigning and GOTV. And as usual host some lively debates. Keep an eye on this page and our newsletters for further updates once the agenda gets finalised.

You can download and print a registration form with this link here or complete a registration form on our website here.

Remember: Early Bird Registration takes place up until 12 October and is £20. If this is your first time attending conference, it is just £10!

CALL FOR POLICY IDEAS

Regional Policy Committee would love to hear from members with policy motions or debate ideas for Autumn Regional Conference. We can help research and craft your idea into a motion or a debate for conference, and then push it further in the Party.

  • Motions passed at Region help influence Federal policy, both on their own and as a great step towards a successful federal conference motion. We have had past success in Regional Policy going to Federal Conference and being passed as actual policy!
  • New to the party and want to know how you can make party policy? Unsure what "policy" is? Have a idea or issue you'd like us to develop regionally or nationally?

Drop Mohsin, the Chair of the Policy Committee, an email at policy@southcentrallibdems.org.uk and we'll help you.
